Many people believe that you have to use huge reaction baits to catch big bass, but I’ve found that you will often catch your biggest bass on soft plastics. This is due to the fact that most big bass hang tight to the bottom and are more lethargic, so they are less likely to chase a fast moving crankbait and more likely to pick up a slow moving soft plastic. Along with this, soft plastics allow bass to get a better look at your lure andĀ also stay in the strike zone longer.
