One piece of apparel that I have found to be extremely useful while out on the water is a neck gaitor. Neck gaitors have lots of different purposes that are useful while fishing. First, it works to cover your neck so that you avoid getting sunburned during long days out on the water. Along with this, neck gaitors can also be used to keep you warm during those cold mornings and evenings of fishing. However, the best use for neck gaitors that I have found is to use them to cover and protect your face from the wind chill that you experience while motoring from spot to spot. Neck gaitors are also relatively cheap, so I highly recommend that any serious fisherman go and pick one up.
