Everyone has a go-to bait that they like to throw and everyone has a favorite lake that they like to fish. This makes it so that people often throw the same baits over and over again on their favorite lake and this can greatly decrease the number of bites that you are going to get. Bass are extremely intelligent fish that learn from their past experiences. This means that after a bass bites your lure, it will remember it and over time will learn not to bite that specific lure. With this said, you can avoid this problem by varying the type of baits and colors that you use, so that the bass won’t have much time to get used to your presentations. If you do this, you will not only improve your confidence in different baits, but you will also increase the amount of bites that you will get.
