When you are out on the water there are a lot of things that you have to think about and the last thing you want to be worrying about is your fishing line snapping. One thing that you can do to avoid this is to check the end of your line after each fishing trip. When fish bite your lure, they can occasionally fray the line and greatly weaken the strength of it. If you notice any fraying or find a spot on it that doesn’t feel normal, then cut your line to get rid of that. This will ensure that your line is always full strength without always having to re-spool your reel.
