When you catch your first bass, be sure to remember the temperature, depth, and method that you caught it on. Along with this, pay attention to if you caught the bass in the sun or the shade because that along with the other things will help you to figure out the pattern of the bass for the day and will eventually help you put more bass in the boat. An example of this is if you catch your first bass on the shady side of the dock, then that tells you that the bass are probably hanging out on the shady shades of other docks.
