When fishing crankbaits, jerkbaits, and topwaters don’t directly attach them to your line. Instead tie on a snap and attach it to your line that way. The snap not only makes changing out lures convenient, but also gives your lures extra action in the water that can make the difference between catching a limit and getting skunked.
