One of the hottest new fishing products out there are fishing rod grips. These are padded grips that you wrap around the butt of your fishing pole in order to make them stickier and more comfortable. I would highly recommend that all anglers get at least a few of these because they really do make your rod more comfortable to fish with and after a couple hundred casts, you really feel a difference. The biggest advantage that I think they offer though is in the rain. When it is raining, your rods can often get slippery and harder to cast with, but these grips help to eliminate that problem.
