Bass are constantly moving to new locations based on baitfish patterns, weather, and water temperature. This means that you should constantly be rotating through your spots because just because there aren’t any bass the first time through your spots doesn’t mean that there won’t be bass on your second time through. I’ve had many instances where I fished a spot in the morning and came up empty, but when I returned to the spot in the afternoon there was a whole school of bass piled up there.
