When drop shotting, your fish finder is your best friend. One thing that I like to do is to motor around until I spot some fish along the bottom. I then make a note of how close to the bottom that they are and adjust my leader size accordingly. This helps me to get my worm down to the right depth, so that I can get the bait right in front of the bass’s face and entice it to bite.
