One of the hardest things to do as a bass fisherman is to remove the hook from the bass’s mouth. This problem can be complicated if the bass inhales your lure. I have found that buying a gaff or hook remover can solve this problem and save you lots of time on the water. This is due to the fact that hook removers allow you to reach to hard to get places in the bass’s mouth and allows you to get just the right angle to pull the hook out. If you don’t want to go out and buy one of these, then a pair of needle-nose pliers can also do the job.
