During the fall, crankbaits can be a great option for catching aggressive bass. However, during this transitional period, the bass can be a lot deeper than your low profile crankbaits can reach. One way that I’ve found that is extremely effective at getting your crankbaits deep is to tie your crankbiats onto the back of a Carolina rig. This will allow even your smallest profile crankbaits to reach deep depths and will help you to catch more bass.
