As we all know, there is nothing worse than having a monster bass on and then having it shake the hook loose and getting away. One thing that you can do to avoid this is to replace all of the hooks on your lures. Most baits come with cheap stock hooks in order to keep the price of the lures reasonable, but these hooks are often very pliable and easy for the bass to shake. I recommend using KVD’s Elite Mustad Triple Grip Treble Hooks. These are very strong, durable, and sharp hooks that will penetrate the bass and keep them hooked so that you can be sure that nothing is left to chance when out on the water.
