When fishing soft plastics, there is nothing worse than having them slide down the hook and having to readjust them every cast. In order to avoid this problem, it is best to peg your plastics with toothpicks. You can do this by inserting the toothpick, so that it goes through both the soft plastic and the eye of the hook. This is a very cheap and effective way to keep your worms on the hook and save yourself some time and money.
