During the early spring months, the thing that is most overlooked is floating docks. These rubber/plastic docks are usually black, which causes them to absorb and keep their heat for a much longer period of time. In turn, these warmer docks will warm the water around them, thus creating a warm, protected environment for the bass. Next time you come across a floating dock, be sure to spend some time working it because chances are there are some big bass underneath it.
