Once the water temperature reaches 50 degrees, the crawfish will begin to get active and start to spawn. Crawfish spawn in clear rocky areas and make a clicking sound when moving along the rocks. Bass use this to clicking sound to locate the crawfish and spend most of the early spring months stuffing their stomachs full of them. With this said, in the early spring you should fish rattling crawfish imitators around clear rocky areas in order to imitate this situation. This is a great spring time tactic and will help you put a lot of bass in the boat.
