It is getting to that time of year where you may start to spot some bedding bass in your local lake. If you do manage to spot a bedding bass, my advice would be to tie on a jig and cast past the nest and slowly drag your jig into the center of the bed and then keep it there for a while. This will make it so the bass knows that your lure is a threat and will tell it that it needs to do something to clear it out of its nest. If you don’t get a bite on the first try, don’t get discouraged, just keep repeating this process over and over again, and eventually the bass will get irritated enough to bite your jig.
