In the winter, you will most likely have to fish deep in order to catch some bass. This is due to the fact that bass school up around deep structure in the winter. They do this because the water temperature in deeper water is more consistent and can often be warmer than the water in the shallows. The only time that you will be able to find them in the shallows is midday, once the sun has warmed it up. Just remember to target deep structure and you will be sure to catch a winter bass.
