Bass feed on many different types of food including worms, crawdad, and most importantly baitfish. Baitfish are a prime source of food for bass and in order to catch more bass you have to understand there food. Baitfish spawn in the spring and fall in the mouth of creeks and in the shallows. This means that in the fall and spring baitfish are the main source of food for bass because they are so abundant. With this said, in the fall and spring you should be fishing where the baitfish are spawning and using baits that imitate baitfish. Now that you know that locations and baits to fish in these seasons you should be able to put more bass in the boat!
